Feeding Wild Dolphins

Often described as one of the most rewarding activities visitors can enjoy on a Brisbane vacation feeding dolphins is a unique adventure families can enjoy together on Moreton Island. Located within close range of Brisbane the pristine island is home to a large number of bottlenose dolphins. The dolphin families who frequent the island have been raised by hand feeding since the first dolphin dubbed Beauty came to the island to receive meals regularly in the 1990's. Home to countless art galleries and museum spaces such as the Queensland Museum and the Gallery of Modern Art Brisbane is also home to one of Australia's most popular outdoor art galleries. A brainchild of The Pillars Project this art space is located in the large underpass beneath the South Brisbane railway line. Lined with 7m tall pillars the unusual art gallery showcases the work of local street artists that use the pillars as their canvas.
