Food is one of my favorite things in the world! When choosing a place to live, one factor I will always consider is the local diners in the area. Going to the diner gives you a plethora of options for food and is usually a place you go to when you are looking for ‘quick, easy, & nearby.’ So here is my list of the top 10 diners in South Jersey!

10. Penn Queen Diner & Restaurant – Located in Pennsauken, NJ, the Penn Queen Diner & Restaurant has been around for over 45 years. They are best known for their great soups, desserts, and cheese rolls. With their own bakery on the premises, you will find some of the best cakes and pies in the area!
9. The New Berlin Diner – Located in Berlin, NJ, The New Berlin Diner has been voted one of the Best Diners in South Jersey every year from 2010-2015. Patrons rave about their pancakes as well as their homemade Apple Crumb Pie!
8. Stratford Diner – Located in Stratford, NJ, the Stratford Diner is a family-run business that specializes in ‘Good Mood Food’ for the entire family. Open 24 hours a day, you can enjoy anything from buttery waffles to club sandwiches loaded with fresh turkey and crisp bacon!
7. Malaga Diner – Located in Malaga, NJ, the Malaga Diner has a wonderful reputation for excellent service. Whether you’re looking for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you can expect the same fast and friendly service all day long! One of their signature appetizers is Mushrooms stuffed with Crab Meat.
6. Mastoris – Located in Bordentown, NJ, Mastoris serves about 1,200 to 2,800 people on busy days. Their most popular foods include prime rib of beef, sautéed chicken and veal dishes, and homemade pasta!
5. Phily Diner – Located in Runnemede, NJ, the Phily Diner has the look of a 1950’s retro diner. With their location right on the Black Horse Pike, travelers to and from the South Jersey Shore Points frequently stop by and enjoy their wonderful food. They were voted a Best Diner in South Jersey from 1997-2015. Open 24 hours, with an attached Sports Bar, they have a ton to offer!
4. Ponzio’s Diner – Located in Cherry Hill, NJ, Ponzio’s is a family-owned restaurant that has been open since the 1960’s. From their amazing breakfast foods to their newly expanded menu, Ponzio’s offers quality food that anyone would appreciate. They also have a bakery where you can purchase some of the most delectable desserts!
3. Silver Coin Diner – Located in Hammonton, NJ, the Silver Coin Diner has been serving the South Jersey area since 1982. The outside has that old-fashioned 1950’s diner appeal, and it is both warm and welcoming on the inside. Two of their most popular dishes are their Cheeseburger Deluxe and their Belgian Waffle with Chocolate Chips!
2. Angelo’s Glassboro Diner – Located in Glassboro, NJ, Angelo’s has a reputation as one of the best diners in the South Jersey area. They specialize in breakfast foods and are known for their scrumptious pancakes and mouthwatering French Toast! Just be aware that it’s a CASH ONLY establishment. They also have the antiquated look and feel of a 1950’s diner, as they have never updated the structure of their facility.
1. Harbor Diner – Located in Egg Harbor, NJ, the Harbor Diner has it all when it comes to food, service, value, and retro décor. Rated as one of the top restaurants in all of South Jersey, you can’t go wrong with stopping in for a delicious meal! They have all of your typical diner foods, and they are all a pleasant surprise for the price.
