Surfing in Bali

Surfing is definitely one of the most sought after water sports activities in Bali. Surfers from across the globe turn up in Bali in the hopes riding the perfect wave. Kuta is most famous amongst surfers while Uluwatu offers excellent breaks; enjoy the waves rolling off the south west tip of the Bukit Peninsula. Apart for surfing you can try boarding where short and long boards are both popular. Body boarding too is a whole new thrill; enjoy being rolled and propelled along the waves. Surfing in Bali also includes kitesurfing and wakeboarding. Check into a well-placed Bali surf resort and you will be within walking distance of fantastic surf points. Flying Fish

Flying Fish

Enjoy soaring into the sky above the waves of Bali in a flying contraption – that looks like a huge butterfly. The flying fish is an inflatable flying device that looks like a 'T' with even projections on both sides. These help the craft to fly when towed from a speeding boat. Generally three people are allowed on the craft at a time; this includes the guide. However those who do not need a guide can take on the flying fish two at a time by lying flat along the inflated tubes. The general speed the boat takes will make you rise 2 metres above the waves; if you do need that extra adrenaline rush request the boat operator to increase speeds for higher altitudes. Overall the flying fish is quite an experience, one that offers you an aerial view of the surroundings.

Parasiling

Parasiling

This too is another adrenaline pumping activity that takes you high above the waters of Bali. You could opt for a parasailing run that takes you as high as a 100 metres above the waves. Opt for a tandem tour with a skilled instructor if you are not sure of proper landing and taking off procedures. The rides generally last around 8 to 10 minutes and offer a bird's eye view of the beautiful tropical surroundings.

Jet Skiing

Jet Skiing

Jet Skiing is the ideal sport for those who love a spot of action on the water. Enjoy zipping across the waves on the powerful machine. An instructor always joins you in order to avoid any hazards. This in no way diminishes the fun one can enjoy on a roaring jet ski.
