The Chawan Mushi brings traditional Japanese treats in yet another exciting fashion. Although in actuality Chawan Mushi is a savoury dish the one you find in Zuma is in fact sweet. Utilizing the steamed egg custard concept that you find in the typical Chawan Mushi an exciting dessert is created where layers of custard of varying flavours is piled atop one another ending with a sort of foam layered with fresh papaya which creates the illusion of a mousse. It is hardly cheap this treat but it is definitely worth the experience.
