Out Patient Group

Anger Management groups at the 14 Porter St location.
They do a walk-in registration from 12 to 1 on Mondays. Must mention anger management group. There is a follow up two hour intake for the group..
If accepted it is covered by insurance.




The Anger Management program is not suitable for people who are abusive in intimate partner relationships. Abuse in a relationship can include the use of anger. People enrolled in the Abuser Education group may also participate in the Anger Management program if they have anger issues outside of their intimate partner relationships.

Emerge conducts phone screenings of people who are interested in anger management services in order to make an initial determination of their appropriateness for the program.

The Emerge Anger Management program consists of 14 sessions, and it is offered in individual or group sessions, depending on enrollment numbers. There are separate sessions for men and women.

Modern Assistance Programs Inc. provdes anger management groups serving both men and women residents of Quincy & Boston, MA.

The Elizabeth Stone House provides several support groups for individuals who are dealing with mental health issues, substance abuse, parenting issues, domestic violence, financial struggles and homelessness. Child care is provided for all groups. New participants are always welcome.
