Best Beaches in Bali – where sunset is more than a reverie

The air still cool with fresh breeze is what any tourist would crave for. And then why Bali, in particular? The reason is simple. The sea is calm, yet the tide is full – just what you look for.

1

Kuta Beach

What strikes you more than anything here is the sunset – a stunning scenery. The only disadvantage perhaps is that the beach is crowded all the time. But let that not stand in your way. Go out there, and enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of Kuta beach. The beach is also flanked by enough eateries to satisfy your taste buds. You can also look for surboards and lounge chairs which are available on rent. And this is a beach you must visit with family. There is a lot of activities for visitors touring with families. Play around with your loved ones with the stunning sunset in the backdrop.

2

Balangan Beach

Take a while to take in its formation: long and the rocky cliffs. And those palm trees in the surrounding guarantees protection from the scorching sun (if you happen to hang around during the day time). The distant scenery of sun umbrellas and surfer bars could be more than tempting to visit Balangan Beach. You can find guesthouses in this raw too, but it is always better to stay at a resort or a villa. There are Bali Luxury Villas such as Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort, so that you can enjoy the beach at leisure.
A few metres ahead, you will find a small temple called Pura Dalem Balangan. Towards the southern end, you will come across bamboo beach shacks.

3

Balian beach

Now, if you are a surf pro, you shall not miss Balian beach. The beach is quite popular for its dunes and knolls. But if you are not into surfing, still the beach offers enough cafes. You can talk to locals and get more insights into Bali's beaches. Evening is the best time to visit the beach. There are other water sports such as bodysurfing. The beach is also home to an eclectic range of eateries. Known for its natural splendour, Balian beach will definitely be one of the ideal beach destinations to visit in Bali. Even with crowds gathered all the time, the beach still maintains its allure and charisma in a unique way.

4

Sanur Beach

Sanur Beach's cleanliness is simply impeccable. That is such a sight to see. This five-kilometre beach is ideal for surfers. Sanur is one of the most beautiful – as well as popular - beaches. The beach has a plenty of activities such as sun-tanning. Despite its popularity, you will also find a relaxed atmosphere here. Once a fishing village, the beach never runs short of people. Just hang around and talk to people in the surrounding. Those chats will be your window to the knowledge of local culture. That trip to the Sanur beach will turn out to be a rare treat, as you can easily delve into Bali's culture as well as nature.
