Srimanthudu and its Tamil dubbed version, titled Selvandhan, were released simultaneously worldwide on 7 August 2015 in around 2500 screens. It opened to positive critical reception and was a commercial success, grossing nearly ₹2.0 billion globally on a budget of ₹400—700 million and becoming the second highest grossing Telugu film of all time. After the film's release, many actors, bureaucrats and politicians announced plans to develop the backward villages and encouraged the adoption of villages in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The film released worldwide on 13 February 2015 to positive reviews from critics who praised the principal cast's performances and criticised few portions of the film for being predictable and repetitive. The film was a commercial success, grossing ₹743 million and collecting a share of ₹431 million in its lifetime. The film also released in Japan on 28 February 2015.

The film became the fifth highest opening day grossing Indian film of 2015. It grossed ₹32 crores worldwide in the opening weekend.

Kick 2 is a 2015 Telugu action comedy film written by Vakkantham Vamsi and directed by Surender Reddy. It features Ravi Teja as the protagonist and is the sequel of the 2009 Telugu film Kick starring Ravi Teja, which was also directed by Surender Reddy. The film is produced by actor Nandamuri Kalyan Ram on the N.T.R. Arts banner. The film was officially launched on 20 August 2014, and the principal photography began on the same day. The audio soundtrack of the movie was composed by S. Thaman and was released on 9 May 2015. The film was released worldwide on 21 August 2015 and was produced on a budget of ₹40 crore (US$5.9 million).The movie collected around ₹43.5 crore (US$6.4 million) in its 14-day run.
Kumari 21F was released worldwide on 20 November 2015 in about 500 screens. It received critical acclaim; praise was directed towards the film's climax, performances, cinematography and music. Kumari 21F grossed ₹380 million and earned a distributor share of ₹180 million in its lifetime. It was declared a commercial success based on the return on distributor's investment of ₹100 million and became the 12th highest grossing Telugu film of the year.
