Mutton Achar Handi

This is one of the best Pakistani dishes you will taste in Dubai. The dish is available at a tiny little eatery one would dub a 'hole in the wall' but Ravi's Restaurant will not disappoint. Expect one of the best and spiciest dishes this side of Pakistan. The seasoning is just right and although the dish is full of fire you simply can't help wanting more. The restaurant is located at Dhs 22.

Pan Seared Scallops

The juicy scallops are presented in pinkish scallop shells. Cooked to perfection by the French chefs of Traiteurs Restaurant the scallops come to your table just the slightest bit caramelised on the outside and gorgeously juicy on the inside. The restaurants Fine Dining Friday Brunches are quite popular, especially amongst patrons who love wolfing down plate after plate of the delicious scallops.

Australian Constructed Pavlova

One of the most divine desserts ever created, Pavlova, is given a new twist at the Bushman's Restaurant & Bar; just one of the fine eateries belonging to the Palm Jumeirah restaurants. The Pavlova is prepared at your table with a mix of meringue, wattle seed mousse, chocolate soil and sauce, plum sorbet, lemon myrtle sauce and riberries. The sweet, sour and tangy tastes are an explosion on your tongue and enhance the mood within the outback style restaurant located at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort.

4

Pink Diamond Oysters

The most beautiful and juiciest oysters are served at the BiCE Oysters. The shells are so beautiful that waiters claim most customers take the cleaned out pink tinged shells home. The restaurant boasts the fattest and most succulent oysters this side of the Gulf. BiCE is located at Dhs 34.

Rice Cheong Fun

This authentic Schezuwan dish is served at a rather small but extremely popular Chinese eatery. The Cheong Fun rice rolls are by far the restaurants most famous dish; it is in fact the deciding factor that draws crowds away from the more popular fast food outlets. The rolls made out of rice flour are coloured bright red and come with a prawn tucked in the middle. The crispy rolls are dipped in sauce to make an excellent bite. Homey Restaurant is located at Dhs 28.
A deliciously sweet breakfast Ryoog Yerana is a typical Emirati food that consists of a fluffy omelette that's folded over sweet dates. Accompanied with bread the dish is sweet and salty. It is generally eaten with a drink called Haleed Kastar thick eggy custard like drink that is garnished with red seeds. Try this dish at Klayya located at Dhs 37.

6

Milk and Honey

A dessert to satisfy any sweet tooth Milk and Honey is a signature dessert at the modern Lebanese restaurant – Qbara. Reservations are hard to come by so do try to bag one in advance. The dish is made up of Greek yoghurt, sumac panna cotta with some honey and saffron pashmak. Once plated it's a golden tower that's quite beautiful; tasting sweet, creamy and tart with the swirl of golden Turkish pashmak crowning the top.
