We all know what Google is up to - self-driving cars and now Project Glass. Who else is doing some cool (and maybe even weird) stuff? Add them to the list.
We announced our self-driving car project in 2010 to make driving safer, more enjoyable, and more efficient. Having safely completed over 200,000 miles of computer-led driving, we wanted to share one of our favorite moments. Here's Steve, who joined us for a special drive on a carefully programmed route to experience being behind the wheel in a whole new way. We organized this test as a technical experiment, but we think it's also a promising look at what autonomous technology may one day deliver if rigorous technology and safety standards can be met.
Futuristic Project called The Water Building designed by Spanish architect Orlando de Urrutia which produced a concept building design that promises to make water out of air and sunlight while housing coastal resort clientele.The design resembles a huge water drop and will employ state-of-the-art Teex Micron technology to generate pure, drinkable water from the atmosphere using solar electric power.
We believe technology should work for you — to be there when you need it and get out of your way when you don't.
A team within our Google group started Project Glass to build this kind of technology, one that helps you explore and share your world, putting you back in the moment.
