Katch | Get more from your Meerkat and Periscope streams

(Free) Katch records live streams from Periscope and Meerkat and saves them to the cloud. Videos can be managed and organized on Katch, including privacy, titles, sharing & embedding on your website or blog.

Tuttle Says: One of the features of Periscope and Meerkat is that they're temporary... Periscope with 24 hours to view the recording, and Meerkat instantly deleting once the live broadcast ends. For many, this is a good thing. But for others, including brands who may want to utilize the broadcast content elsewhere, not so much. Katch is a great solution for capturing your live streams and hosting online for playback elsewhere, and within Katch's social ecosystem, too.

Hootsuite | Social Media Management Platform

(FREEMIUM - Pro starts at $9/month) Hootsuite is a social media management tool that allows you to manage multiple social networks and profiles across those networks. Content can be organized into customized dashboards allowing for easier management of scheduled posts, replies, keyword filtering and more.

Tuttle Says: Best used for Twitter management, particular around keyword campaigns, events and scheduling of posts. Limited newly-released functionality, such as Twitter Polls. Also works with Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram, each with different limitations. Pro includes some team management functionality at an affordable cost.

Buffer - A Smarter Way to Share on Social Media

Buffer is a social media curation tool enabling easy sharing of webpages via their browser extension and scheduling of posts via website or app. Buffer can manage scheduled posts for Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, and PInterest.

Tuttle Says: Buffer's primary focus is to schedule posts, and as such has limited functionality for managing relationships, engaging in conversations, or monitoring communications. However, Buffer is incredibly easy to use and a great tool for Executive Directors to auto-schedule articles, news, resources, and other web pages directly from their browser.
