Top 10 Attraction in Barcelona

I chose Barcelona because it always fascinated me and I always wanted to go there and to see what it was actually like. Making this list really inspired me to go to Barcelona when I grow up. And I always wanted to travel around the world.

Number 1-La Sagarada Familia Church

Number 1-La Sagarada Familia Church

This unique and beautiful familia church is one of the famous attractions within Barcelona. Because this church is so big, it would take up to one or two hours to see jut the whole inside. It was designed by a famous Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi over 100 years ago. Just recently in 2012 people opened up the church to the public even though it's still being built. 65% of the church was built in 2013. Only eight towers of 18 spires are completed. Constructors that are building the church have planned out to be done building the whole church by 2026. They want it to be done and finished because to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Gaudi's death in 1926.

This magic fountain was built in 1929. It was built as one of the main attractions for the Barcelona World Fair. And the Font Magica is still, today one of the most famous spots in Barcelona with an estimate of 2.5 million visitors annually. This show even goes until winter. During the winter there are water and lights in a show same with during the summer.

Pablo Picasso was born in Malaga, but lived in Barcelona from 1895-1904. During his years in Barcelona he spent his time as an artist. This museum is the Born area of Barcelona and the most famous museum, too. Picasso first exhibited his art in Barcelona so he considered himself from Barcelona. Even though this museum doesn't have the most famous Picasso paintings the collection is unique. The museum is located in various magnificent gothic mansions in the medieval part of Barcelona called El Born.

The street is one of the most famous walking streets throughout Barcelona. La Rambla it is not an eye-catching sight, but very pleasant to stroll down and enjoy. It's called Las Ramblas because it's really a collection of various stretches of street with different names.
