So to do it right, I've made a bucket list. So here is a list of the things I want to do. Add your suggestions!
Before I Die...
I want to go snorkeling in the ocean and be able to see all the beautiful marine life!
I've always wanted to ride a hot air balloon. I would love to see breathtaking views from up in the sky. An airplane takes you higher, but you can't see how truly beautiful everything is.
I've always wanted to experience a color run. It would be completely amazing if it was for a good cause as well.
I've never been hiking, but I've always wanted to try it. Specifically, I want to go hiking in Yosemite National Park in California. It's a very beautiful place and very popular for hikes.
Go zip lining. I've zip lined through Canada before and I was able to see Prince Edward Island, but I've always wanted to to do it again. A new location would be great as well. The picture is zip lining in Koh Tao.
I've heard of many people doing this and I would LOVE to give it a try. Have you ever backpacked across Europe?
Don't you think it'd be amazing to just go and see the Northern Lights? Looking up into the night sky and seeing a bundle of flourishing colors would be. . .perfect.
Right now I'm learning Spanish, and hopefully I will obtain what I'm learning and use it later in life. I could go to Spain and actually understand what they're saying. Wouldn't that be so cool?
I've NEVER seen an actual waterfall and I think Niagara Falls is a good place to start. If you've ever been there, is it as amazing as it seems?
Wow. That's all I have to say. Wow.
I want to go to San Francisco and see the bridge. Maybe I'll just simply stand on it. Who knows. I'll only know when I get there.
I think I have pretty good coordination, so maybe I can try skiing. I watch the movies and they make it seem easy. I know it's not as simple as place a foot and you're gone, but I want to try it. Skiing or snowboarding.
I've always wanted to try horseback riding. I have a bad feeling I'll fall off and get trampled, but if I never try, I'll never know.
A floating lantern. Never heard that before. But I've always wanted to try it. Once again, I've seen it in movies, but I REALLY want to go to a lantern fest and send one up into the air. In the dark with a sky full of lights. Just me and a thousand floating lanterns. Have you ever been to a lantern fest?
I want to go to a city, drive away, and see the skyline at night. See the beauty of its outer shell and just get rid of reality for one night. Inhale and exhale.
My Dad was born in Vietnam, but he had to leave during a war. He was very young, around 3 years old, and was adopted with his sister Megan. I don't know anything about my family from my Dad's side. I don't know who his parents are and neither does he. He knows he had older siblings, but they stayed back with his parents. The whole operation of getting the kids out of Vietnam during the war was called Operation Baby Lift. That's all I know about my family on my Dad's side. I want to learn more though. More about my heritage and possibly my family. I know all about my Mom's Canadian side, but that's where my family tree ends.
If I ever have the chance, I want to run into an open field, lay on my back, and look up into the dark void filled with thousands of bright and sparkling crystals.
At one point in my life, to relieve stress and get away from my life, I want to get in my car and just drive away. I don't want to have any planned destination. I'll pack anything I think I might need and just drive. Drive through cities and small towns, and countries and states. With no time limit and no idea of any places, I'll just head off into the setting sun. Drive until the sun comes up and the cycle repeats. Cliche, yet different.
