Jacob De Geer: CEO, iZettle

Jacob de Geer is a Swedish serial entrepreneur. He is co-founder and CEO of iZettle, the fast-growing payments company that allows anyone to accept card payments on their smartphone or tablet.
Prior to iZettle, Jacob worked at performance marketing firm TradeDoubler. Here he helped to build one of the largest advertising networks in Europe before leaving to co-found movie sharing firm Ameibo and then Tre Kronor Media, an award-winning communications agency. Both companies were acquired in 2010.

Max was one of the original cofounders of PayPal where he served as the CTO until its acquisition by Ebay in 2002. Jon is a payments guy with nearly a quarter of century of experience. He was an early Visa Europe employee and key contributor to its growth, leaving in 2006 as EVP Marketing. He started Visa Europe’s ecommerce division, was the lead executive on the introduction of Chip and PIN technology and oversaw product launches such as Visa Electron and V PAY. He served on the Board of EMVCo, was the Chairman of the Compliance Committee and was a member of Visa’s Global Product and Brand Councils. Since leaving Visa in 2006, Jon served as Deputy CEO for SecureTrading, where he doubled transaction numbers and quadrupled profitability. He then led a management buy in at Shopcreator, the ecommerce software platform.

Ben Milne: CEO, Dwolla

Ben Milne, CEO and Co-Founder of Dwolla, started his first company, Elemental Designs, at the age of 18. Ben began leveraging the internet to drop ship custom made speakers. His adventures lead him all over the world, establishing operations in Southern Asia and California. An original $1,200 investment would turn into a multi-million dollar company by the age of 22. After heavy research in 2008, Ben and partner, Shane Neuerburg, approached a Midwestern bank with an idea to establish a new payment network that would upend the financial services industries. They called it Dwolla. Ben would sell Elemental Designs to focus on the new project. In 2009, the privately funded Dwolla launched in Iowa and California, boasting the nation’s cheapest payment platform of only 25 cents per transaction. In 2010, Dwolla introduced the first technology to empower seamless payments leveraging users’ social networks, officially pioneering social payments. In 2011, Dwolla launched the world’s first geo-location based mobile payments. Ben also has extensive community experience in speaking, mentoring, and leadership programs.

Tara Kneafsey: CEO, Wonga

She is an experienced business leader and has worked in financial services both in the UK and internationally for nearly a decade.
