Roaring Twenties & Beyond (1920 - 1949)

Roaring Twenties & Beyond (1920 - 1949)
The 1920's was known as "The Roaring Twenties" or the "Jazz Age" in the US, while in Europe it was often called the "Golden Age Twenties" because of the economic boom following World War I. French speakers call it "années folles" ("Crazy Years"), emphasizing the era's social, artistic, and cultural dynamism.
We're going to journey all the way through the 30's depression years and the 40's war years, and calling the upper boundary of this group's timeline, 1949.

Edwardian History Group (1901 - 1919)

Edwardian History Group (1901 - 1919)
A time of peace and plenty, the Edwardian Era's fashionable elite set a style influenced by the art and fashions of Continental Europe. Coinciding with the French Belle Époque, this glorious period lasted from 1901 to 1919 and saw the sinking of RMS Titanic, The First World War, and the Treaty of Versailles. Literature, art and fashion blossomed.
Since the Edwardian Era was relatively short compared to the long reign of Queen Victoria, we have extended the period to include the post Edwardian years covered by the period drama Downton Abbey.
Enjoy!
