Here is my monthly roundup of fresh music that rocked my class for the past month. Usually they are brand new hits - but often they are remixes of some older material that reanimates and energizes them with beats and flavor to take spin class to the next level. 4 songs to climb a mountain! Many of my drills are what I like to refer to as "snap ins." That is not a full class but a complete drill sequence you can blend into your own routine and playlist. By encouraging riders to improve their "peak pedal force", with heavy resistance drills they will learn to deal with the physical and mental fatigue during longer climbs both in the studio and outside. In order improve our riders pedal force, we will take on a long gradual hill over four songs. As an aside - the drill could be run on any four song set that is slowish.. steady... and "fits" with the goal of a power climb. Check it routine out here
