This is a list of the courses I would be most interested in going on. Because, like a child, I'm a learning machine. It would be good to learn stuff I'd like to learn - rather than stuff that simply happens to occur. Be "pro-active" rather than "re-active". I'll add the curriculum I'd like to cover gradually.

Recording audios of conversations with people is great. It gives people both an opportunity to tell their story + an opportunity to hear themselves tell the story & give themselves feedback. Recording helps people get better at telling their most important stories.

By "autobiography of a family business" I mean the big story - why & how the company was formed, the journey to where it is now, the people along the road, the adversities, the twists & turns, the changes - the big story. It requires immersion in the story, lots of permissions, consultation, digging... and the expression of that story in a dramatic & authentic way...

CEOs & Owners are a special group - they lead, they decide, they represent the business, they manage the other directors & shareholders & investors. It can be a lonely position.

A lot to learn. Maybe I should specialise - rather than try to learn a bit from here and a bit from there?

Music for non-musicians
You can love music - without being able to make it. You can appreciate singing without being able to sing well. You can learn about the history of music. Even 'what is music?'

It's easy to write in your own voice. That comes naturally. But what if the work requires you to write on behalf of someone else? What if you need to paraphrase the words of another person? What if you need to resist the temptation to lapse into your own voice? How do you recognise the difference between your voice and the voice of another person?
