10 Things I don't like

A list of "10 Hard Gratitude Problems". This is exercise No 1 from "Become an Ideas Machine in 180 Days" by Claudia Altucher.
The first part requires that you list 10 things you don't like.
The second part requires you to come up with positive things that you gain from experiencing the things you don't like.
This seems to improve the ability to turn adversity into something positive.
You are welcome to add your own items to this list.

How difficult it is to find your way around Cork City.
The absence of good signage has forced me to find my own way round the city. Tis always good to find your own way rather than complying with the ways of others.

The way my wife pressurises me to do things

The way my wife pressurises me to do things
The pressure I feel exerted on me by my wife suggests to me that she cares about me. How much better is that than if she didn't find it worth her while attending to my way of doing things. Also she gives me opportunity to practise dealing with pressure and improving my skills in this area.

Facing a long queue for the cinema

Facing a long queue for the cinema
The long queue gives me an opportunity to slow down and get ready for the film. I'm usually rushing to get to the film on time and this prevents me going into my seat in a state of urgency. The queue is a place for mindfulness

People not listening to me

People not listening to me
When people don't listen to me, it prods me to listen better to them - get better at picking a time when they are more receptive. It's good when people show me they are not listening - it stops me wasting my words

The lack of speed controls on the estate where I live
The lack of speed bumps makes us all more careful with how we cross the road within the estate. It keeps us all vigilant - and greater vigilance within the estate rubs off and makes us more careful about crossing the road in other places.

Feeling physically threatened in any way

Feeling physically threatened in any way
Feeling threatened helps me feel vulnerable. Stops me from feeling invincible. Feeling threatened give me an opportunity to practise changing the dynamic in the situation. It also helps me to get fitter so that I get better at running, hiding and generally become better at anticipating.

Not earning a fair share of money needed to pay my way
This gives me a feeling of being dependant on others. It helps me empathise with people who are unemployed or earning hardly any money - also with so many women who look after children and have to ask others for money. It also improves my ability to ask for money - something I don't like doing

Having to keep the kitchen permanently tidy to please my wife

Having to keep the kitchen permanently tidy to please my wife
This stops me from being a slob. Helps me be tidier in other area of my life. Makes me bend to the will of another - reduces my tendency to think I should be able to whatever I like. Shows me how nice it is to have everything in its rightful place

Leaving the car fuel level run low

Leaving the car fuel level run low
This improves my ability to forecast the rate at which fuel burns. It keeps me alert. It emphasis to me the importance of value for money - squeezing the last drop of value out of other things. It reduces the number of times I have to visit places I don't find attractive

Weighing more than 14 stone & measuring more than waist 36 inches

Weighing more than 14 stone & measuring more than waist 36 inches
Such a weight helps me understand what people who are dissatisfied with their weight feel like. This takes me down a notch for the feeling of smug satisfaction that I tend to have. Reminds me that I'm vulnerable too and need self-discipline as much as everyone else. Makes me appreciate the value of clothes that fit really well
Geometry Dash

Play as a square block and get over all the obstacles in the game with fast speed. Calculate carefully the right point to avoid the nails and spike by jumping.
