Reader List: Your Top Affordable Watches for Men

WatchTime is frequently asked to list Affordable Watches for Men. Here are 10 that come to mind (this list is not exhaustive). We realize that "affordability" is a relative term, so we have included a range of timepieces priced below $5,000. Feel free to add your own selections by clicking on the "add to list" button below.
Swiss-Mechanical Swatch Sistem51
One highlight of Baselworld 2013 was the introduction of Sistem51, a new mechanical watch from the Swatch brand. Now the first four Sistem51 models, which first launched in Switzerland, are finally available at U.S. retailers. In this article from WatchTime's March-April 2014 issue, we explore what makes these watches fascinating.
Longines-HydroConquest
Longines represents an excellent entry point into the world of fine Swiss-made watches. During the brand's 182-year history, it has served as an official Olympic timer, supplied timepieces to multiple expeditions and to the International Aviation Federation, won numerous Grand Prix competitions, and of course created the famous Lindberg Hour Angle pilots' watch.
Tudor Heritage Chrono Blue
These two chronographs have their roots in the '70s. TAG Heuer's Carrera Calibre 1887 Jack Heuer Edition, which debuted in April 2013, uses a 1970s-inspired design in which the chronograph pushers sit at the top of the case. Tudor's Heritage Chrono Blue is an updated version of the distinctive Montecarlo chronograph, launched in 1973.
Hamilton Jazzmaster Viewmatic Skeleton
With the fall arriving, and Halloween on the horizon, what better time to showcase a new skeleton watch? In this "his and hers" edition of Watch to Watch, we look at Hamilton's Jazzmaster Viewmatic Skeleton - available in men's and ladies' versions, and both containing the same new proprietary movement, Caliber H-20-S.
Frédérique Constant Slimline Moonphase Manufacture
From my blog, Watch-Insider.com, here is my list of the top 10 men's watches that represent the most excellent value for price. There is a lot of discussion about what constitutes "affordable watches" and "affordable luxury" when it comes to watch brands. For me, it means watches under $5,000, with mechanical movements, from the best watch brands.
