On Being with Krista Tippett - The Big Questions of Meaning

On Being with Krista Tippett is a spacious conversation about the big questions at the center of human life, from the boldest new science of the human brain to the most ancient traditions of the human spirit.

The November 2014 interview with Seth Godin is the best place to start.

Podcasts | Accidental Creative

Love Todd Henry and the Accidental Creative! Creativity genius, his interview style is hands down my favorite. He just finds the right people, and engages them on their own unique genius. I assign his podcasts to my Parsons Creative Careers class. And they started listening to podcasts I had not assigned, that's saying something!

Podcasts - Entrepreneur On Fire Business Podcasts

John Lee Dumas of Entrepreneur on Fire is great. Sometimes the interviews are a bit lengthy but overall he finds very inspiring, interesting businesses and owners. I'm always grabbing my notebook to jot down ideas when he comes on the mic.

Tara Brach - 2014 - Audio Dharma (Teaching Talks)

I listen to Tara Brach when I'm really in need of a spiritual, life lesson. Her 2-part talks on Happiness, and Unconditional Love from November 2014 are a great place to start. Be still, be by yourself, and really listen, let her words resonate. If you want to check the talks out on YouTube it might help you stay awake, her voice is pretty soothing. How can one person be this wise and when do I get to hear her live?!

Three Simple Steps

Trevor Blake, author of Three Simple Steps, was my gateway drug to exploring my style of work, life and philosophies. The book is a must read, super easy to get through unless you want to start really studying and using his methods (I'm not, although I do meditate daily). The blog offers Monday Morning podcasts, they are quick maybe 5 minute lessons. Some are better than others but worth checking out if you enjoy it, keep listening.

025 - Gretchen Harnick of Parsons and Pattern To Plan -...

Gretchen Harnick (Parsons, The New School for Design) joins the team to talk about the current fashion business environment. Is marketing ruining social media?
Yes you read that right. The American Fashion Podcast is a group of 3 industry insiders, plus 1 guest gabbing for one full hour on a random range of current topics, the guests expertise and work, and general fashion news of the week. Enjoy this episode and all others if you're into the fashion industry.

The James Altucher Show

I first encountered James Altucher late 2013. His book Choose Yourself had been reviewed a number of times on some coaching blogs I visit, and then I listened to his Ted Talk. This guy is honest, open and totally wacky but you feel like you want to listen to his life lessons of gain and loss, gain and loss again. Yep, sounds about right.

" StartUp

Are you starting up a new business? Or thinking about it? You'll be binge-listening as this team starts their own podcast network in Season 1 and DOCUMENTS IT, live!! All the painful moments, and trials are shared in this clever high quality podcast.

Already been listening? What do you think of Season 2: Two women build a dating company in the male-dominated world of startups. Fabulous!
