Our Muddy City: 10 Community Lovin' Photos from the Glastonbury Festival in Recent Years.

The Glastonbury festival is a five day little city (and massive music fest) built with tents, art, and mud. This temporary community is located near Pilton, Somerset, in England. These gatherings are opportunities to live in a place created outside of the normal everyday routines like crosswalks and scheduled lunch breaks. Collective thoughts are shared here. This space is where we could have a chance to celebrate and create new ideas for the world outside, and of course, listen to some great music.

*It is like finding that perfect little town. * It's a spontaneous little city where people gather for one goal. The music drives solidarity.

Our muddy city
We're here rain or shine. In the hectic misery of everyday life, we might have the urge to clean off the mud in order to carry on with the day. This is not the case here, in the Glastonbury music fest, mud is part of building relationships and having fun.

New flags or no flags, it's the sign of brighter times. One day we could strip the corporate side of the music festival and break down the borders to let it flood into the outside world.
