The Glastonbury festival is a five day little city (and massive music fest) built with tents, art, and mud. This temporary community is located near Pilton, Somerset, in England. These gatherings are opportunities to live in a place created outside of the normal everyday routines like crosswalks and scheduled lunch breaks. Collective thoughts are shared here. This space is where we could have a chance to celebrate and create new ideas for the world outside, and of course, listen to some great music.
Sleeping close together with no keys in our pockets for locked doors that separate us Glastonbury becomes your home for a few days and the music and people love drastically changes the way you live.
Sitting under handmade stars and waiting for new friends Here there is not a "no loitering" sign in sight. No purpose is your only purpose.
*It is like finding that perfect little town. * It's a spontaneous little city where people gather for one goal. The music drives solidarity.

The time to see every sunset and sunrise Regular days have us on the go with no time to stop and enjoy the things nature offers us. A soul soothing sunset is what we all need.

Our muddy city
We're here rain or shine. In the hectic misery of everyday life, we might have the urge to clean off the mud in order to carry on with the day. This is not the case here, in the Glastonbury music fest, mud is part of building relationships and having fun.
Moving on from the construct of the rat race, Glastonbury is a temporary escape and experience outside of all that is considered "normal".
