Not much commentary in this video as I'm still a bit tired after flying 12 hours and not sleeping for two days. I fly into Haneda airport and make my way to Yokohama via the Keikyu rail train line. I only took the wrong train once.
This is a collection of video clips I shot when visiting Japan a couple months ago. Most of this was filmed in Tokyo and Yokohama, including Yokohama's Chinatown. The temple is Kanon temple in Asakusa, a district of Tokyo. Filmed with a Canon T2i.

Yokohama is a large port city facing Tokyo Bay. When Japan emerged from centuries of isolation in the mid-19th century, Yokohama was a tiny seaside village, home to only 100 people or so. But as the tide of internationalization rose, a port was established and Yokohama began to grow as a gateway to Japan.
