"If you could do things differently, what would you do?"
"My family was so poor that they couldn't afford sending me to school. I always wonder where I would be if I had been educated. Today, I earn money so that my children can go to school and they don't have to pick odd jobs like me. When they complain about going to school - I tell them my story and stress on how without education life is so difficult."

"Take my photo and keep it safe. I'm going to be a big scientist."

"Children these days, ha! They don't know how to enjoy their lives. I'd like to tell them to get off their silly phones and big computers, so they can step out and make conversation in real life. And I don't just mean the teenagers, even the ones who're 30 plus."

“So you have your own business? Like an entrepreneur?”

“Nahi not really. Dad ka business hai.. I partake sometimes as and when.”

“Ok. So what did you do your graduation in?”

“Fine arts kiya tha. Got 87%.”

“Wow.. that’s amazing. So you can draw and paint and all?”

“Haan, of course.”

“Toh why didn’t you try something in the creative side?”

“Dekh bhai number achhe aate hain fine arts mein, iss liye kiya tha. Nahi toh mujhe yeh painting wainting ka kaam gay lagta hai. Ladka paida hua hoon toh paper pencil lekar logon ko drawing karke toh nahi dikhane wala.”

"What was your most fulfilling moment as a lifeguard?"

"A few years ago I saved a kid from drowning. I don't remember the precise details of how it happened but what I do remember is the look of relief, respect and gratitude I saw in the eyes of the kid and those who surrounded him. Every time I save someone, that's the exact look I get. It's moments like these that I find most fulfilling about my profession."
