This scope is everything you want and more. Clear, crisp sights, quick to focus and relatively light. I mounted this with the p series mounts on my sig 556 m400 "pistol" 11.5in barrel. It only took two clicks down to get it sighted in perfectly at 50 yds. It turned shooting targets at 100yds into child"s play. I am very impressed with this scope by Nikon. After months of research, I decided to go with Nikon because of the lifetime warranty, BDC reticle, SpotOn online ballistic software, and quality optics. After realizing the new ProStaff has all the features I wanted in the Buckmaster and possibly better optics to boot, I was sold.

Nikon did an excellent job with this one. The picture is clear, bells and whistles are straight forward, and the 9X zoom on this is so bitchin I can barely stand it. Get this scope for your 10/22. I put it on my Ruger 10/22 Takedown. I mounted it to the reciver with Weaver's 1" inch raised mounts. This makes it so that the scope is raised so that I can see my iron sights still clear as day. You will not be be disappointed.

I bought this scope at the end of the season last year shortly after purchasing a new 300 win mag. I sighted it in at 100 yards and then put it away for the winter. In preparation for hunting season this year, I headed out to the firing range. All I've previously owned is 3-9x40 (no bdc), so I was anxious to see what the bdc would/could do for me. I have to say, I am very impressed with this scope. It is very clear, easily adjustable, and the spot on calculator provided on the Nikon website is a neat deal as well. Last night after work, I went to the range and shot out to the predetermined yardages based on the spot on calculator - they were dead on and I shot targets out to 680 yards, hitting them every time. I love this scope and have recommended it to friends and oworkers. I only paid $189 at Scheels and I thought that was a damn good deal.
