Listly by Tonya Peavy Bowen
This list includes resources to use during my English Language Arts unit on Rick Riordan's novel The Lightning Thief. Each year my students read the novel while also studying Greek, Roman, Norse, and Egyptian myths (to better understand the myths used in the novel and to compare/contrast cultures). They also study folktales and legends from various cultures (especially those in America to draw comparisons to ideas/themes in the novel). This unit is always one that the students love!
