One of the 1st precedents to modern day MOOCs. A Project of TESOL's The Electronic Village Online CALL Interest Section What is the EVO? EVO is a set of online discussions and workshops that takes place every year from mid-January to mid-February. Sessions include a range from simple discussions to virtual hands-on workshops.

Marisa Constantinides is the head of CELT Athens, a school and teacher training facility in Athens, Greece. She provides free quality English classes to refugees. Her blog is full of great resources. She was my CELTA trainer. I learn lots from her. I also would have nominated Chris Wejr but will respect his wishes not to include him in awards.
