Fri. 11/1 - Bayardstown Last Bash

Even though Pittsburgh's weather is unpredictable, we're pretty sure summer and the harvest season are over, so we're locking up our backyard BBQ experiment. We had a great time but are starting to hear the call of the toasty indoors, but one more bonfire and grill session couldn't hurt!

Join the team and help us make the 2013 event - which will be held in Decemeber - the most successful one to date.

Sat. 11/2 - Arbor Aid a benefit for Tree Pittsburgh

Arbor Aid was conceived by Tree Pittsburgh and late local woodworker John Metzler, founder of the Urban Tree Forge. Arbor Aid celebrates the possibilities presented to us by trees as resources within our city. Rather than make mulch or firewood from urban trees that need to be removed, Tree Pittsburgh encourages giving them a longer life by repurposing them as art, furniture, flooring and everything in between.

The After Hours @ the Library event supports the day-to-day operations of Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. The price for the November 8, 2013 event is $35 per ticket. For tax purposes, only $20 per ticket is tax deductible. The balance of $15 per ticket represents the fair market value of the refreshments and entertainment for the event.
