Complete resources for PBL, K-14: publications, online tools, professional development, and research. Website resources include 'how-to' videos and example projects, a Do-It-Yourself project planning tutorial, links to online project libraries, useful downloads of project planning and management forms, and a forum for posting questions to experts and fellow practitioners.

A video sent in by one of many students who entered our contest from a Project Lead the Way school. In early September, Science Times published a special back-to-school edition about teaching and learning in the STEM subjects - science, technology, engineering and math - and we joined in by announcing a student contest for the best answers to the question, What Memorable Experiences Have You Had in Learning Science or Math?

Teaching math is difficult. Teaching math in an interesting, engaging, and effective manner is even more difficult. This blog is dedicated to brainstorming interesting and dynamic math problems and projects. While this blog isn’t specifically dedicated to Project/Problem Based Learning (PBL) models of instruction, the facilitator of the blog is employed by the New Technology Network of Schools as a Math Coach and hopes to be of service to NT Math teachers. Still, good instruction and interesting teaching isn’t confined to PBL and all are welcome at the table.
