Greetings, this is one of my drabbles for this week's drabble cascade. Our word of the week is 'independent' in support of all indie writers hit by the Kobo/WHSmith's mess. To be independent, to stand alone relying on no one but yourself is a dream for some people.

Do not ask, I don't know. When I was little and forced to take naps upon a neatly made bed of white sheets, these were the impressions my mind created. I was under five, before kindergarten age... and you didn't need to know all that.
I hated naps.
Our word of the week prompt is ' independent'. We chose the word this week rather than picking it randomly because we are horrified by what Kobo and WHSmiths have done to independent authors just because their screening procedures seem to have been inadequate.
