Walk into a bike shop today, and it's easy to get lost in the choices. There are road bikes and hybrid bikes, mountain bikes and comfort bikes. Beach cruisers and commuting bikes. "City path" bikes and touring bikes. Even the most basic bike, the standard beach cruiser, may be operating under a new alias: a lifestyle bike.
Hybrid bicycles blend characteristics from more specialized road bikes, touring bikes and mountain bikes. The resulting "hybrid" is a general-purpose bike that can tolerate a wide range of riding conditions and applications. Their stability, comfort and ease of use make them popular with beginning cyclists, casual riders, commuters, and children.
This short video was intended to help the new cyclist, in selecting the correct Hybrid style for them. I tried to refrain from making any reference's to Brands, Styles, Models, Etc.. being any better than another. But wanted to give them some tips on things they may want to consider before actually purchasing one.
