My 10 Best (less popular) Copy Abilities in Kirby Games!

My top ten list of the best (mainly fun) abilities Kirby can use for his adventures. This list is opinionated and based my experience playing them!

1

Mecha

Mecha

This brand new ability from Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe is very versatile with it's attacks, with fire and spark elements. Mecha is also super fun to use! With its jet pack, I can fly and hover with great speed. This ability is new though so it hasn't grown on me as mush as the others.

2

Mirror

Mirror

First appearing in Kirby Super Star, the Mirror ability is unique in which it can reflect attacks back. At first, this was just another ability to me, but in Kirby: Planet Robobot it somehow became clear that I adore this ability! It's so beautiful and yet very powerful to fight bosses and enemies with!

3

Water

Water

Water has been missing as an ability for Kirby until Kirby's Return to Dreamland. The attacks of this ability are so fun and actually very useful in those dreaded water levels! With the power to surf on water and make deadly rainbows, I always want this ability to show up in new games!

4

Wing

Wing

This ability isn't good when it comes to boss fights, BUT flying with this ability is just so fun that I can forgive that. When the level is based on using this ability I can't help but feel happy that I get to fly around for the whole level!

5

Leaf

Leaf

Leaf was always my favorite, IF you were to ask me when I was little. Spinning around with a deadly leaf tornado? Sign me up! Since I was really young when I first played Kirby's Return to Dreamland, I really was dependent on abilities that had super safe shields.... which Leaf makes you invincible if you used it.

6

Bubble

Bubble

I'm not so sure why I adore this ability so much, but I do. It only appeared in Kirby: Squeak Squad and it has never returned since. I guess because it can help with storing copy abilities for later because of the bubbles? I just really like bubbles!

7

Bell

Bell

Bell is such an odd ability. I would have never expected for Bell to exist but that just makes me love it even more. The bell sounds are nice and it has a solid moveset. I guess being able to throw bells at enemies is funny to me, so that's probably why I love it so much.

8

Mike

Mike

This ability only has 3 uses, with every time used it gets stronger, but I would go out of my way playing a level just to bring This ability to a boss fight. I guess being able to sing your enemies to death is "fun". The Mike ability is literally just Jigglypuff but LOUD.

9

Yo-Yo

Yo-Yo

As someone who has played with a Yo-Yo, Kirby does it infinitely better than what I can do. Hitting an opponent with a Yo-Yo brings me just as much joy as hitting an opponent with a Bell.

10

Tornado

Tornado

This ability is so destructive that you are completely invincible while using it. But controlling this spinning puffball of death is rather hard. But, in my opinion, this adds to the destruction because you don't know who you're going to hit! Chaos is always good in video games for me!
