Best shopping malls in Bangkok – Time to shop till you drop

Fashion in Bangkok is an eclectic mix of high-end stores, locally created goods, and fake designer goods found in the city's many malls. Bangkok has an interesting fashion scene. Other shopping malls in Bangkok are merely air-conditioned versions of the city's famous night markets.

1

Discovery of Siam in Thailand

Siam Discovery has had a major renovation, and it's going to blow your mind. After a Hollywood-worthy refurbishment, Siam Discovery reopened on May 28th, 2016, more than 40 years after it was first established. It makes the bold claim that it is Thailand's largest lifestyle specialty store, and it well might be. There aren't many malls like this in the world. Drones, for example, can be purchased here. What kind of shopping centre carries drones? In addition, there are a slew of other odd shops, such as a toyshop with Star Wars figures as well as a whole vendor dedicated to protecting elephants from extinction around the world through the sales of their items. If you're in the mood for some rest and relaxation during your shopping trip, there is an entire floor devoted just to that purpose.

Ingress and egress at Route 21

Upon entering Terminal 21, you'll be able to see a variety of cities from across the world, including Rome, Paris, and Tokyo. You might be in San Francisco on the first floor. On a different note, you've returned to Asia. You'll have a more memorable shopping experience as a result. Terminal 21 is a world-class retail centre in Bangkok, only steps from the Asok BTS Skytrain Station. It has everything a shopper may want or need. Designer labels like Levi's, Guess, and Sequel can be found in Rome or on Level G. You'll find additional vendor-style apparel if you go up a few floors. There are restaurants that charge hundreds of dollars for a dinner, as well as a food court where you can have a full meal for less than 35 baht (about $1). The top floor of the building is a popular gym with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Sukhumvit Road. Once you've climbed one more flight of steps, you'll find yourself in a massive cinema theatre presenting both Thai and Western productions.

The Siam Paragon

Upon entering Siam Paragon, one is treated as if they were a famous person. You are greeted by a giant glass door and security as you enter an oasis of fake flowers and shrubs. If the Maserati dealership in the first store you see at Siam Paragon is any clue, the things sold at Siam Paragon will be high-end.

The Siam Centre in Bangkok, Thailand

It's a fashionista's dream come true to shop at Siam Centre. To begin, you'll be overwhelmed by the sheer number of shops and boutiques. Siam Centre's high-end food court, the Food Factory, is a great place to refuel for your inevitable shopping spree.

Additionally, if you hope to get some dining in Bangkok done be sure to check out the Avani Atrium Bangkok as well!

The MBK Institute

Indoor street markets are hard to come by in Bangkok, but the MBK Centre comes the closest. It's as if the proprietors of every market stall in town have all moved into this indoor mall at the same time. It looks a lot like the Chatuchak Weekend Market sans the crowds and, of course, the sweltering temperatures.
