Last blog post was about MY favorite court activities. This one features the ones my students ask for again and again.
Jail Break has to be the king of tennis activities, although surprisingly it is not included in the USTA's 'Top Ten Tennis Games Every Coach Should Know'. Hot Seat is a variation of this type of game, also very popular with my students.
Fast paced, silly, and the crazy feeds are what makes this game a player favorite.
Black Hole actually is a somewhat controversial pick here. My students either love it or hate it. That tells you a lot about their directional skills!
This one is included in the Top Ten. What player doesn't enjoy being the King or Queen of the Court for the day???
This is a challenging activity but I think the reason most students love it is the great equalizer: the 'instant winner' component.
