Quy Nhon is an interesting city to explore with many fascinating places to visit such as Ky Co Beach, Banh It Towers, Eo Gio as well as Buddhist temples and museums, as described below.

1

Ky Co Beach

Situated a short distance from the city of Quy Nhon, you will find the beautiful Ky Co Beach; it is considered to be one of the loveliest places in Vietnam and may be reached by taking a ride on a speedboat or even a fishing boat from the village of Nhon Ly. At Ky Co, you are sure to be captivated by the imposing cliffs, pleasant sands and the shimmering clear waters with rocks scattered around. At this beach, you will have the opportunity to take a dip in the waters and perhaps spend some time resting on the smooth sands amidst the picturesque surroundings.

2

Banh It Towers

You will find that the Banh It Towers which may be regarded as a significant cultural attraction, is a large tower complex that is also very well preserved. You are unlikely to experience crowds at this location and you will be able to reach this historical site by ascending a rather steep flight of stairs. There is a total of four towers at this site, namely the Main Tower, Fire Tower, Gate Tower and Stele Tower. The most striking of these would be the Main Tower and the Fire Tower, which feature attractive brickwork and vegetation such as plants and moss growing on them.

3

Eo Gio

The appealing Eo Gio which translates to 'windy waist' in the local language, will be an agreeable location at which to spend some time admiring the shoreline of the area of Nhon Ly. At this site, you will find pathways extending from the area's entranceway to the base of the hill where visitors may photograph the picturesque coastal landscapes and tranquil waters. As you make your way down, you may encounter some gusty winds. Although swimming will not be recommendable at this site, you may dip your feet into the pleasant waters and admire the marine creatures.

4

The Buddhist temples

Visitors to Quy Nhon who seek to cultivate inner peace will appreciate the opportunity to explore numerous Buddhist temples to be found in the environs of this city. You will find that the well-known Chua Long Khanh happens to be a sizable temple that was initially built during the early part of the 18th century. Today, however, nothing remains of this early construction; you will see a more recent building constructed to replace the former structure in 1956. When it comes to getting to Quy Nhon, travel by train is an ideal option; for something truly memorable, consider luxury experiences offered by the likes of The Vietage that will take you to this city with its Buddhist temples and other attractions.
