Oceanhouse Media (www.oceanhousemedia.com) offers teaching lessons for many of these books as well. The grade level and month and the Text Leveling Code (TLC) indicate INDEPENDENT reading level. Children may always be introduced to text that is more difficult for them if there is an expert reader serving as a guide.
