Well most of them are aware of Stephen Hawking, who is he ?is an English theoretical physicist, cosmologist, author and Director of Research at the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology within the University of Cambridge and one of the brilliant minds in the world, may be the world might not know about his discoveries or what he is or what kind of a life he has led so far. So here is a list of few things that you may not know about him and which might inspire you to find a goal in life. I hope some one out there will find a will to live like he did.
Well all may think he was a model student when he was a child but well your wrong he never had good grades. Even though his grades where low he was called the Einstein in is school. So not always your marks determine who you are or who you will become. As you can see he is one of the famous personality right now.
Hawking believes that the Earth will come to an end in 1000 years, unless we do spread in to space. The earth might end due to global warming, a new killer virus, or the impact of a large comet.
He has written many books which is based on the universe. He has written children's book as well. His book " A Brief History Of The Time" has been very popular. Even with so much struggle he has been striving to achieve his goal and which he made it possible with his will power.
He believes that aliens exist and tells not to contact them as it will not end well for the human race on Earth. He thinks that if alien visit us, the outcome would be as much as how it was when Columbus landed in America. Which didn't end well for Native Americans.
Even though hawking has won many awards for his work he has never won a Nobel Prize. Well he just makes fun saying its ok he appears on Simson's. His well received humor makes him an outstanding person.
Appeared on many series like Big Bang Theory, Simson's and Star Trek. His down to earth personality and his humor has made him more profound and fun person.
Well as most people even Hawking loves to bet on things . He lost a bet on black hole which he had made in 1977 , he admitted that he was wrong in 2004. Even though he doesn't win most of the bets, he still likes to bet.
When he was in college he is was in the boat club. He was the rowing trainer at the time noted that Hawking cultivated a daredevil image, steering his crew on risky courses that led to damaged boats. So one of his crew member had told that he is a adventurous type. I think even now he lives a life filled with adventure of his own.
He was told that he had a ALS also known as motor neurone disease where he was told that he had only 2 years to live when he was 21. But he never gave up he decided to change his life and as you can see he is still alive in his age of 70. To all the will power he had to survive his disease and make it so far he is a man of respect.
To motivated the disabled people hawking participated in the zero-gravity flight in 2007 in a "vomit comet". by the desire to increase public interest in spaceflight and to show the potential of people with disabilities.
A person with lot of interest in learning and trying new things.
