Retailers do it on a massive scale. Linking to your key content internally.
Causation / Correlation again - do they influence rankings or are they as a result of rankings?
Does the number of tweets you receive influence your ranking?
Volume of sites linking to you
Quality - as opposed to volume - of the links pointing to you
Does having keywords in the page title really affect your ranking (yeah it does but how important is it)
Keywords in the domain name - how important?
Diversify anchor texts for your backlinks by using a mix of brand names, URL, or keywords + brand.
