Humans have always tried to explore the universe. And tried to send Human spacecraft to travel in space. Apollo is such a spacecraft created by NASA to explore the Moon. 6 of them have landed successfully on the moon .Here is a list of 6 Apollo spacecraft which landed on the moon.

1

Apollo 11

Apollo 11

This was the first spaceflight which landed the first two Humans on the moon. Mission commander Neil Armstrong and pilot Buzz Aldrin landed the lunar module Eagle on July 20, 1969, at 20:18 UTC.Apollo 11 was the second all-veteran multi-person crew (the first being Apollo 10) in human spaceflight history.

Apollo 12

Apollo 12

It was the sixth manned flight from United States and second to land on moon.Mission commander Charles "Pete" Conrad and Lunar Module Pilot Alan L. Bean and Pilot Richard F. Gordon. It was launched on November 14, 1969, from the Kennedy Space Center, Florida, four months after Apollo 11.

Apollo 14

Apollo 14

After the partial success of Apollo 13, Apollo 14 was the eighth manned flight and the third to land on moon. Commander Alan Shepard, Command Module Pilot Stuart Roosa, and Lunar Module Pilot Edgar Mitchell launched on their nine-day mission on January 31, 1971 at 4:04:02 p.m. Shepard hit two golf balls on the lunar surface with a makeshift club he had brought with him.

Apollo 15

Apollo 15

It was the first of what were termed "J missions", long stays on the Moon, with a greater focus on science than had been possible on previous missions. This was the ninth manned mission and the fourth to land on the lunar.Commander David Scott and Lunar Module Pilot James Irwin spent three days on the Moon.

Apollo 16

Apollo 16

Apollo 16 was the fifth to land on the moon and the tenth manned flight of the United States Apollo space program. The first to land in the lunar highlands.Commander John Young, Lunar Module Pilot Charles Duke and Command Module Pilot Ken Mattingly.Apollo 16's landing spot in the highlands was chosen to allow the astronauts to gather geologically older lunar material than the samples obtained in the first four landings

Apollo 17

Apollo 17

Apollo 17 was the final mission of the NASA's Apollo program. It was a J-type mission which included three days on lunar surface . Apollo 17 was the first night launch of U.S. Human spaceflight. Launched at 12:33 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on December 7, 1972, with a crew made up of Commander Eugene Cernan, Command Module Pilot Ronald Evans, and Lunar Module Pilot Harrison Schmitt. Apollo 17 is the most recent manned Moon landing and was the last time humans travelled beyond low Earth orbit. The mission broke several records: the longest moon landing, longest total extravehicular activities (moonwalks), largest lunar sample, and longest time in lunar orbit.
