2016 has been a productive year for Malayalam Cinema. One of the small industries of India, Mollywood realized its potential by the 150 crores grossed Pulimurugan. The industry also witnessed many debut directors who came up some extraordinary movies which reshaped the narrative and political significance of Malayalam Cinema. The Mollywood also had seen the success of so-called popular entertainment movies too. Here we go with my selection of top 10 Malayalam movies released in 2016.
