I feel like I can improve my performance on the job. I always believe that I can improve on things that can make me become a better designer. I often remind myself that practice makes improvement. During my internship I learned that I need to try and work faster on assignments. My weakness is trying to come up with concepts. I have a hard time trying to come up with ideas because I lack inspiration. I try and research websites such as Pinterest and Behance to gain inspiration. Also, I notice that I can be a bit shy when it comes to having a conversation with the AIR team. I am learning to come out of my shell. It is sort of hard for a person to do a self-evaluation because of how people perceive themselves. There is a saying that says “You can be your worst critic.” I agree with this saying because there are times when I am not confident with my work. Each day I am learning to be the best that I can be. Overall, I treated this internship like it was an actual job. I like to be prompt and professional at the internship. I am thankful for gaining four months of experience at AIR. I already completed one hundred and twenty hours of my internship. I will continue to intern at AIR until December. I look forward to starting a new journey when I finish school.

In the beginning of my internship I worked on an assignment with the other intern named Ryan. In my fourth journal entry I explained how Ryan and I created fillable PDF forms. Ryan and I did not know how to do a fillable PDF. I was a little worried because the both of us had never done an assignment like this before. Ryan and I decided that it would be best for the both of us to research how to complete the task. Eventually we found a YouTube video that helped us understand how to create a fillable PDF using Adobe Acrobat. I believe that teamwork is a good thing because two heads are better than one. I told Ryan that I did not mind doing the fourteen pages of the forms. When I finished my part of the assignment Ryan placed the forms in the correct order inside of the General Education Assessment Workbook. When we completed the task we showed Yimi the final piece. Yimi, tested the fillable PDF form to make sure that it was usable and she was content with the results. I was at ease that we successfully completed the forms. As a result, this was a learning experience for the both of us.
