The first Dell World conference was held on October 12-14, 2011 in Austin, TX. With a theme of “Unlocking Innovation in the Virtual Era,” Dell brought together 1,200 of its customers to discuss the latest trends in technology, including the data deluge, virtualization, and the cloud.
At the conference, attendees used the app to check in to various locations and received points and badges for checking in. They also earned points for downloading content, promoting on social media, and exchanging contact information with other participants.
