Bangkok's top shopping malls – how shopping could be a striking experience

If you are looking for a great shopping experience, the world is not full of top destinations. Out of the very few destinations, Bangkok stands alone with its great variety of shopping malls.

1

MBK Centre

You can recognize the MBK Centre even from a distance. It towers over other buildings like a giant. The shopping mall reached new heights of sophistication following the refurbishment in 2015. And now, you can see a mixed crowd of locals as well as foreigners. They seem to enjoy roaming inside the colossal building.

The fourth floor is completely committed to mobile phones. You can find quite a lot of mobile phones for a song. When you move up to the fifth floor, you would find camera gear and on the next floor there is a food court, which gives access to the best food in the town.

2

Siam Square

This is definitely worth visiting, if you are travelling with family. The shopping mall is very much an open-air space almost completely dedicated to teenagers. While hearing the pop music emanating from speakers, you will see many fashion designs and fast-food eateries. And you won't be able to find these designs anywhere else.

3

Thanon Khao San Market

In Thanon Khao San Market, you will find a chain of guesthouses operated throughout the day. Here you have almost everything from tee-shirts to designer clothing. And the range is quite miscellaneous with selfie sticks, orange juice and frogs made of wood.

4

Chatuchak Weekend Market

Chatuchak is where you can buy almost everything under one roof. It could be anything from olden-day sneakers or a baby squirrel. If you plan to tour here, then have one whole day dedicated. The place guarantees an amazing collection of items to see. Ideal time to visit here is the morning, when it is not fully crowded.

It is easy to reach here when you are staying at a luxury hotel Bangkok has to offer such as Emporium Suites by Chatrium. The market has an information centre too with ATM machines in the surrounding. These machines have foreign exchange facilities too. Conveniently, the market has toilets located ubiquitously.

5

Gaysorn Plaza

The spiralling staircase is the unique hint of the Gaysorn Plaza. The staircase leads you up to many outlets that house well known brand names. The second floor, for instance, is home to Thai Fashion Chic zone. That zone will make you familiar with the local fashion industry. And all the other well known Thai brands such as Kai, GGUB and Stretsis are available here.

The third floor is an abode of fragrance. The fragrance follows you throughout the floor.

6

Pantip Plaza

A casual walk on the pavements will expose you to enough filthy screams of the vendors. Most vendors would try to somehow sell their DVDs. But if you need a reliable place, go to Pantip Plaza where computer and electronics are available abundantly. In fact, it is a paradise of electronic equipment.
